Scripts with '.tld' in the includes

I'm just wondering if Greasefire takes into account .tld in the includes (as opposed to listing .com, .co.uk, .de, .fr ... etc.), as the one time I have briefly tested Greasefire I noticed one of my scripts (link) wasn't listed when checking on imdb, and I suspect this is because I was on imdb.com and there isn't a special case for .tld.

Does anyone know offhand if I'm right here, or have I done something wrong (or am I being very blind)?

Well it's been a couple of days now since I made this topic; does no one know what I'm talking about here? Am I posting this in the wrong place?

I haven't torn apart the addon yet... it's on my todo list... however I can say that the criteria for inclusion into the database is a bit "too strict" per say... give it some time and they may resolve it. I had to wait over 3 weeks for one of mine to reshow up. :\

@Marti: Thanks for replying. I've been meaning to look at the add on in more depth at some point, but similar to yourself I haven't found myself with a spare hour or so yet.

hehe I know the feeling... you might want to try a manual db update too... last I read they are still having issues with that portion.

speaking of includes... why isn't there a way to include a regexp?

you can distinguish it from the "wildcard" format because it could be in the literal form. for example:

/^https?:\/\/(?:www\.)?google\.com\//i

instead of having to worry about including many things past the dot, or having several includes which are converted into several regexp's.

i should file a ticket on greasemonkey's site, but i have a feeling the writer of GM doesn't check it... does anyone know his email / who he is? (or they)?

I know there's been discussion of this on these forums before. You may want to search (although I guess include and regexp are common enough that you'll likely find nothing).

One example I can think of off the top of my head is here - Include/Exclude Rules

znerp: Greasefire should handle the special "tld" wildcard. Can you give me an example of a script that should be matching a particular website URL?

I did in my first post; http://userscripts.org/scripts/review/9174

Further to my above post, it seems to be showing now in the list now so I don't know what's happened there. Thanks for your reply though.

Great, I'm glad it is working!
