Hey Pavel,

Really liking your Compactor after seeing your post in Lifehacker in the Gmail Redesigned thread ;)

I was running another Greasemonkey script called "Gmail 3: Hide Labels, Chat, Invite Friend & Footer" that got rid of a lot of other junk.

It seems the two scripts do not live happily together. Is there anything that you can do to live in harmony, giving the perfect debloated Gmail layout ?

Cheers,

nwpsys

Unfortunately, due to the way a some other scripts are written, my script will break them.
Can you post a link to that script, all i could find a userstyle.
I will look over the code of that script, and just contact the author with my suggestions to make them compatible.

Oh dear - it looks like it is just a userstyle as you said http://userstyles.org/styles/15583 - my mistake.

I have looked at the code of your script, and it looks like you have plans to hide some more stuff anyway, so I will just stay using your script for now :)

All the best,

nwpsys

I will try to add some options to the script to hide labels, chat and footer.

Great one, I have just one feature request, please add Tasks.

Btw: Each time I log into gmail I'm getting error message: "TypeError: item.childNodes[3] is undefined"

Ah, i finally see what you mean about tasks. It should be fairly easy to add, but it would break my 5x2 grid. I'll think of a way to do it.
