Greasefire causing CPU to max out!

If I enable greasefire after a short period of time (typically a few minutes) my processor is at 50%. I have come to the conclusion greasefire is the issue by disabling the other extensions I have, and then slowly re-enabling and restarting Firefox. I have screen shots of task manager if anyone is interested. Normally FF uses about <10>

That is very strange, I've never seen that before. Can you please give more detail? What OS, what version of Firefox?
