is it better to buy 100 of each or should i stick to the old 10 at a time? does anyone know the real answer?

I haven't done the math, but I would think that you would lose too much hourly income waiting until you have enough cash to purchase properties in blocks of 100.

The exception to this might be when the MW creators introduce new properties at low prices before inflation. If your bounty is $5 billion and suddenly new properties are available at $40 or $50 million each, then yeah, go ahead and buy 100 at a time.

i did the math,
the x50 and x100 are the same cost as if you buy five or ten x10.
the x25 is the same cost as buying x5 x10 x10 (which is cheaper than x10 x10 x5)

so unless you have a large enough pile of cash not much point.

the undeveloped land goes up too, though. that alone makes buying 10 at a time less expensive in any configuration.

I agree. There's no point in keeping more than 10 units of any undeveloped land that can have a property built upon it.

The math is not done right. Buying x5 x 10 x 10 is not cheaper or more expensive than x10x10x5; they are the same.

Let y be the cost of a property when the owned value is 0.

Let's find out how much it would cost if we buy in the following order: x5 x10 x 10:

Cost = 5y + (y + 5y/10)*10 + (y + 5y/10 + 10y/10)*10 = 45 y

and let's find out how much it would cost if we buy in the following order: x10 x10 x 5:

Cost = 10y + (y + 10y/10)*10 + (y+ 10y/10 + 10y/10)*5 = 45 y

If you don't believe the math, do an experiment of your own and try to buy empty lots in either order. You will see that the total cost would be 45*y=45*5000=225000.
