Can you add the https into the autorized pages ??

if i am correct i think you can added it yourself by opening up the "manage" panel of greasemonkey then click on the prefetch script in the list on the left. Then look to the right for "included pages" click the add button and put this in "https://www.google.com/reader/*" with out the quotes then click OK. go back to your tab with google reader and click the refresh button. It should be working now.
