People were making requests that simply couldn't be done inside of Greasemonkey. So I took it up a level, to Firefox addon development. Here it is.

can you develop both? I hate new one because there is just small text that shows that something is happening and even dont work properly (it shows 1 file in queue or something like that it dont download it).

And i cant see reason for that version too there is few hours wait between files.

few hours wait between files.

nope, its a couple of minutes. check your download manager. it works fine. (at least in firefox 3)

hi there, i'm sorry I didn't update the metadata for that yet. i'll change it soon (it should be working when i do).

Seconding the request that this be updated alongside the addon.

The addon is far too invasive. I want to be able open half a dozen tabs and then completely ignore them for a while, and have them all downloaded when I come back to look at them again, which is something that the script I previously ran could do fine before I stupidly removed it in favour of your addon.

As an addendum to my previous post, that script (which I am completely unable to find again much to my displeasure) accomplished the feat of downloading multiple files by simply trying again every two minutes if it failed to download on its first attempt.

I highly doubt that. As for mass link management, use the manager that comes with the add-on.

Doubt it all you like, it's true.

And as I said, the addon is horribly invasive. Make it not ask for permission every time and it might become usable.

Try not visiting every link and instead use the manager to add a bunch of links like I previously said. It's far more efficient, and it seems like you're looking for efficiency.

Hmmm. Then I'll change my suggestion to better documentation, because I had no idea that feature existed. Also the ability to drag-drop links onto the statusbar section would make things much quicker.

I would still like to see at least an option to remove the asking for permission on single files. If I've installed the addon of course I want to use it.

I'm pretty sure I have that as an option (but I haven't looked at my addon in a while, so idk) O__O
