Apr 9, 2009 1:11pm Crow User	I have several filters set up to have incoming mail bypass the inbox and have a specific label applied to it. Any chance that support could/would be added to display the number unread in the label that you are currently in?

Apr 9, 2009 2:34pm Peter Wooley Script's Author	That seems possible. I'd have to take a look at the best way to sniff out which filter you're in, but there seems to be enough information present. I'll play around with it tonight!

Apr 9, 2009 9:18pm JeffyJ User	I'd personally just like it to total my unread across all labels... I am using popfile to sort all my incoming mail into labels.

Apr 9, 2009 9:35pm Peter Wooley Script's Author	If I can figure out how to manage the counts, a feature like this might need some additional options. What's most interesting about this is learning how people manage their accounts. I'll let you know what I find out and if we can implement both of these ideas.

Apr 10, 2009 8:56pm Peter Wooley Script's Author	Well, I believe I was able to locate the all of the labels within Gmail (using this, if interested: `top.document.getElementById('canvas_frame').contentDocument.getElementsByClassName('WnjAod');`). I still need to do a bunch more testing with all of the labs plugins and various other scripts that utilize the labels area. Once I'm sure I can know where the labels are, I'll add the logic to count the unread messages and see what we can come up with.
