I saw another script http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/24953 that looks like it does the same thing as this script but the description says it is a bandwidth killer so I didn't want to use it. Does this script work in the same way? If there are lots of links on a page will it lag you or eat up bandwidth? |

Any link checking script can be a bandwidth hog if there are a huge number (hundreds) of links on a page. This script is a little better than most as it is able to chunk all rapidshare links on a page as one submission. To answer your question: It's only a bandwidth hog when the number of links requires it to be. Normally it'll check a few dozen links in a fraction of a second. Then it's idle. yah. |
