urbi(); Script's Author
The planned features for the next version of this script are as follows:
  • A tool to change the width of the columns, and possibly to add additional columns. This will most likely be part of the Arrange Homepage tab of the settings manager.
  • Organizing the settings into categories like Comment Settings, Bulletin settings, etc.
  • Fixing the bulletins so they don't jump when the page is updated.
  • Making it possible to send messages the same way that you can post comments.
  • Making the drag-and-drop functionality of the Arrange Homepage feature more intelligent.
  • Preventing the enlarged thumbnail image from going past the top or bottom of the screen.
  • Making the tabs in the Settings Manager and Friendspace navigable with the scroll wheel.

Anyway, the point of this topic is for more suggestions. If you have an idea that you would like to see implemented, post it here.

well I think i already mentioned messages and you said it would be too hard, but that's always there if you get bored

urbi(); Script's Author

Alright; I'll add that feature unless there's something that makes it impossible.

well i don't mean to be pushy or anything,
it'd definitely be nice, but if you just wanna say "screw it", you wouldn't be hurting my feelings or anything

No worries. It really wouldn't be very hard to add. I was just tired of doing that kind of thing at the time.

How about a quick few settings to control the font sizes for each column?

urbi(); Script's Author

That's an excellent idea. I've been trying to think of a way to solve the text problem. I made the text in the right column smaller to fit better, but if I were to make the column widths adjustable, font size wouldn't be an issue if the user made the first column wider.

any idea on when the new features will be out?

urbi(); Script's Author

Don't know. It might be over a month, or it might be a week or two. I'm either going to be very busy soon or not at all.

actually, here's one

when the page refreshes, it would be neat if it could play a sound when there's an update,
like the one MyspaceIM does, or anything really

urbi(); Script's Author

Currently, that would require using Flash, and I don't have flash.
When Firefox 3.5 comes out, however, support for the audio element will be added and then I'll implement that feature.

well i was thinking if javascript had an equivalent to "/a" or something
in c++ that makes the computer beep

urbi(); Script's Author

Nay, javascript doesn't have any statement like that, unfortunately.

How about a widescreen feature (For common resoulutions like 1440x900)

urbi(); Script's Author

Version 5.0 adds the ability to change the widths of the columns, as well as the font-size and line-height of each column.

Thanks man, you've made my day. :)

If its possible i would love to have the enlarged pic on mouse over be the actual size of the pic(as if you were to look at it in their photo albums)...and instead of the enlarged pic popping up next to the mouse, can you have the enlarged pic pop up in the top left corner,and make mouse disappear when it pops up there if possible(to make sure the mouse isnt covering the pic)...might be quite a bit o ask for but I absolutely love everything else about this script...WONDERFUL JOB!
thank you
