flac jacket wrote:can you got to http://www.facebook.com/reqs.php and hit Ctrl + A. Then right click "View Selection Source" and copy. Then sent that html to medleymind@gmail.com Thanks. After that if would also help if you installed Tamper Data and went to Tools -> Tamper Data and then block the application request on Facebook. Then go to the Tamper Data window and find that POST request to http://www.facebook.com/ajax/block_user_request... and send me the post data. I understand if I'm asking too much of you. |

nvm one of my friends finally sent me a request and now I'll take a look at it and try and come up with a fix. |

flac jacket wrote:I fixed Fan Page and Even request blocking, because those are the only two request I have gotten. I can only write code to block a request type if I have that request type sent to me. Hopefully one of my friends will spam me with an App or Group soon. |

Okay guys. I just released by next version (2.4.9). Your status is back on your home page, 3 out of the 4 types of requests can be blocked automatically, and the width of comments are now expanded(thanks to FreekyMage's CSS). Let me know what you guys think! Remember, you can customize almost all the features through the settings panel. |

You guys know those one-line stories Facebook puts on your profile whenever you do anything??? The one's that say "Recent Activity"? I use to have all those turned off in my settings, but now Facebook has decided to take away that opt-out privileged. So I've just added the option in this script that you can remove all those activity stories automatically whenever you go to your profile. You don't even have to lift a finger. Turn it on in the settings menu. |

Hi sizzlemctwizzle! I've been searching so long for automatic recent activity removing... I installed your script and I flagged 'Automatically remove "Recent" Stories from your profile' option, but it doesn't work! :-(

goodwork wrote: Sorry man there was a bug in the script, but I just uploaded a new version that does work. Just reinstall the script. goodwork wrote: So was I, and since none existed that I knew of, I wrote up some code and added it to UnFuck. This feature is eventually going to replace the feature Facebook got rid of where you can select what types of stories get published on your profile. |

sorry, but it is still not working :(

goodwork wrote: go to your profile and all your recent activity one-line stories disappear. make sure you have the feature turned on in the menu. This is what the recent story areas will look like after the individual stories have been removed:
You many need to click the "Older Stories" link at the bottom of your profile to remove all the stories. |

still nothing... all my recent activity is still there... :( |

goodwork wrote: Damn. Would you mind going to your profile and then hitting Ctrl + A and then right-click the page and select "View Selection Source". Then copy and paste that HTML code into http://unfuckfacebook.pastebin.com/ and email me the link at medleymind@gmail.com Hopefully by seeing what you see I can fix whatever issue is causing it to fail. If you want to you can remove personal information from the HTML, but that is a private pastebin url(for even more safety I could send you a different url in a private message if you want) I gave you, plus you can have your code retained only for a day. Your help would be greatly appreciated. |

when I try to send HTML code to pastebin I get from the site the following error: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1579681 bytes) in /home/pastebin/lib/geshi/geshi.php on line 1983 |

Can you make a script just for removing Recent Activity? I would do it myself but I'd rather not steal your work. Thanks. |

Dravgis wrote: First, you do realize that almost every feature can be turned off from the settings menu? If you really just want a script that does that I guess I could make it. Since I plan on developing the code even further I'd like to wait before I make a separate script(or else I'd have to keep updating both of them as I tweak it and add other features). Are you okay with just using this script until the feature is more complete? |

i've been looking for this remove activity script, thx a alot! it works perfectly :D |

Yea, I can wait, this script is fantastic though it does remove some stuff I'd rather keep in my profile. Like Boxes specifically. Great script btw. |

Dravgis wrote: I'll add that to the options menu(to be released in v2.6.0). Any feature you want to be able to turn off, I can add to the menu. If fact I added the ability to turn off wide wall posts today, since a user requested it. So all you have to do is ask. Dravgis wrote: Thanks :) |

Can you add something to block youtube? i seem to have friends who spend hours doing nothing but adding youtube videos, can't seem to block them with firefox. thanks! |

Is the Wide Wall Post the same attribute that pushes the sidebar in an Event down the page? |

Dravgis wrote: Maybe, if it does then it's a bug. Can you give me a link to a page where that happens? opi8 wrote: Hey I post those :( lol! It's never really bothered me because they're so small, but I guess I can throw in that feature for the next release. |

It shows up on all the events I have. This is what it looks like:

sizzlemctwizzle most of them are harmless and entertaining but there are a handful that post tons of old music videos, sometimes 20/day, or videos of news reports. i hate to overall block the individual. thanks! |

opi8 wrote: Holy crap! I post maybe one a week. That would get annoying. I'll definitely add that feature. Dravgis wrote: That's not at all what I'm getting:
Have you tried turning wide comments off? Does that fix the error? If it does I could play with wide comment style and try to fix it. |
![]() ![]() |
Definitely is the wide comment triggering it. Turned it off, everything is fine. Is the script dependent on screen resolution? |
