I'm working on getting the next version released. It won't be the full customization that I was hoping for but partial customization for now is better than no customization. If you haven't noticed the auto-updating on the home page hasn't worked for a while now. I was hoping to fix that with this next release but I think that feature will have to be pushed back.

Bottom line: I'm pushing to release some of the features I've been tinkering with for over a month.

Lately I've noticed that I can see the Facebook quizzes. Did Facebook change something in the way it displays these?

I haven't noticed this, but I only have a few friends and a very long application block list. Perhaps it was one of those rare ones that use a non apps.facebook.com url. If you see them in the future select them and post the source html.

Edit: Aww fuck you're right. They're getting through. I'll figure this out tomorrow and push an update that I've been sitting on.

Edit: Facebook made changes today and now my home page is freezing. Will start debugging once I get the chance.

The latest update crashes my Firefox.

Feels like an infinite loop.

Firefox 3.5.2, running on OSX 10.5.8

Exact same problem as arkangl describes, on the same setup (Intel CPU, if that should matter)

I'm having the same problem as the previous two.

Firefox 3.0.13 on Vista x64

Also having problems with the latest update on 64bit builds of both 3.5.2 and the nightly builds for linux. It doesn't send anything into a loop, but it does freeze the browser pretty hard.

Problem fixed. New version has been uploaded. It wasn't an infinite loop btw. Facebook just changed the classname of an element.

It's working.
Thank you, sizzlemctwizzle!

And sorry about the misleading 'infinite loop' assumption.

Hi sizzlenctwizzle,

Please have a look at following script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/26427

It is your script copied by this piece of shit swarnava (as all his other scripts and jetpacks are copy-pasted).

Thanks. I already knew about that script. Looks like it's been removed.

The script is good & all but it freezes my browser.
& when I uninstalled it the browser would stop freezing.
Whatsup with that?

Hmmm... what page are you on when it freezes?

Looks like there was a change to facebook that causes the browser to hang and go non-responsive

Yep, thye broke your script again! Please fix it! It's the best thing about Facebook (your scripts fixes, that is)

Yep, I noticed. It happened this afternoon. I'm going to be gone tonight, but I'll take a look at it tomorrow and hopefully put out a complete fix very soon(its most likely freezing because Facebook changed classnames, which has froze Firefox in the past). For now I did some quick debugging and commented-out code I couldn't get to run without freezing Firefox. Reinstall the script and at least for now you can run my script without freezing Firefox.

While you are fixing up the script, can you add an option to hide comments like "This person is now friends with that person"? Thanks.

Definitely. And I also need to update the app story removing code. I've been seeing a few of those ugly things on profiles.

Thanks for the fast fix, the development responsiveness alone is half the reason I like this script.

Is going to be a bit of a wait before I get time to work on this. I just got sick and have a bunch of other things to get done. Let me know if it starts freezing Facebook again, but I'll need a few days to re-enable broken features.

Thank you for all the hard work on this script. It's great. So many of my friends hate the new update by Facebook so I'm sure they will love the next version of your script.

I've had a couple things get by recently. Namely a page suggestion and a farmville neighbor request.

I haven't experienced this yet, but I have very few friends so I might never. Where is it happening? Is it appearing on the chat bar or in the actual requests area on the home page?

I never got anything in the chart bar, it is only in the home page requests section.

chat bar, not chart bar
