Damn, you are fast. As soon as I noticed it was broken I came here to say something, but you already fixed it. Well done. :)

Ah so I wansn't the only one with the problem. Thanks for fixing it. Although I am not going to update it. I like to watch HD vids with the default video size. Why isn't this script go with the HD size on youtube?

Mindeye,

Great joy with the script once again my friend, keep up the good work!

Beyond Fan, go to "YousableTubeFix configuration" menu command (under "Tools" / "Greasemonkey" / "User Script Commands"):
>> to keep the default video size, put a "1" in the video size setting at the top of the configuration menu,
>> to have HD by default, in the bottom two drop downs, select "Best Quality available" and "Best Quality",
Then click OK and refresh the page

All: Thanks for your compliments :-) . I was browsing some YouTube videos when I saw the problem and it was a not very complicated fix

BeyondFan: The script lets you set the player to any size you want. Try to do what gabedibble said or uncheck "move and resize the video by default"

Yeah, I knew that. What I mean by default size, is that if I didn't have the script, and watched vids in HD, the video size gets bigger. But when I have the script enabled, there is no way to get that default size I want when I am watching youtube vids. 1.25x is too small, and 1.50x is too big.

The reason I want it by default is because I believe the quality is better, since youtube choose the size. Do you think it is possible to add that in future versions?

With the 14 Mar 2009 update I'm getting fatal Com library errors again. They stopped with the previous version but are back again.

The script does not detect MP4 format of this video, but it does play.

edit:
oh, it does now. that's strange. maybe because it was just uploaded.

You should change the fmt map of the high quality flv to "35/640000/9/0/115". YouTube uses this format since last december. Thanks for the script! I look forward to the replaced flash player (mentioned in the other thread), because I am currently using the VLCTube script.

Beyond Fan:
It seems that YouTube have now a different video size when the video is changed from LD to HD. I'll try to have that in mind for future versions. You can also adjust the video size in the configuration dialog to some size between 1.25 and 1.5

Paul1149:
Fatal Com library errors? Do you mean Firefox crashes? It's very difficult for a Javascript script to make Firefox crash, it's more likely to be a conflict in your end or some problem with a plugin or addon. Have you tried reinstalling Firefox?

SlimShady:
Yes, that's something that can happen with recently uploaded videos

kovezett:
Adding support for format 34, 35 and others is in my list. Thanks for the suggestion anyway
