Is there an alternative to the script?
I do have multiple Gmail accounts and would find this feature helpful, but I don't know if there's any other way to implement it. Perhaps a Firefox add-on has feature? If you know, please share! |

I did some searching and supposedly there is a Firefox add-on: |
I couldn't install this because it's not compatible with Firefox 3. |

FYI, that "addon" you linked to is really just a ripoff of my script; almost a direct copy (view the source if you don't believe me). Why do you want another way to implement the feature that this script provides, if you don't mind me asking? This way seems to be perfectly acceptable to over a hundred thousand other people. |

I love tis script but ever since I started using gmail with the offline feature, I started to lose the drop down box. Any insights? |

Same thing for me. Since offline was enabled on one of my accounts I cannot get the drop down menu at all, but it works in the account without offline. I really wish there was a fix for this. Thanks. |

The Firefox add-on has been updated so now you can use in Firefox 3 as well:

I love this Firefox add-on..!
- It has option which uses "Secured Connection" when checking your account.

mac123: Please stop peddling your blatant ripoff of my and others' scripts. It's an insult to me and all of the other scripters whose hard work you are stealing. |
Jarett: It might be your ripoff scripts but I am not at all talking about your script. I am talking about the "Firefox Add-on" which was updated which is an alternative for the script. As this forum is about the alternative to the script you are fighting. |

mac, I apologize for assuming you were the same person that has been spamming the comments for my script before. The URL you're linking to is trash; he has you install someone else's addon and then a stolen copy of this script. The actual addon you're referring to is here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/... |
