It is just too confusing to have two scripts named FBMW++
Would Pea Cracker like to see to it that one of these scripts is renamed? Hm, maybe they're the same script under two different numbers?

just uninstall them both, then install the one from the other page, I believe that's the most up to date, but all the code is on these forums. you can install this one and insert the code yourself, or go to the other page. Pea Cracker had some other things to take care of other than us for a while, and some people (i.e. remarkable & co.) who knew javascript maintained it when changes were made to the Mob Wars site. Pea Cracker is the only one who can change the script on this page, so another script page had to be made to be able to update it. Recently, Pea Cracker put the latest script back here. Now that that's out of the way... <rant>You talk about the "devs" like it's some company that calling the shots and screwing with the script just to make you miserable. This script is made and maintained by people who want to help a community. This isn't their job. They do this in their spare time, and they thankfully share their solutions to common problems that we all experience. "How can anyone know which one is working and which isn't?" Read a little bit, for no more than 5 mins (unless you read R-E-A-L-L-Y slow, which may be the case), and you'll find an answer. Or you can install this one, if it doesn't work, uninstall it and install the other one. Matter of fact, maybe you should "just give up", since the "devs apparently break it within hours of each new version". The "devs" hate you and don't want you to be able to use it. Maybe it's just my old age (all of 30), but I'm losing patience with n00bs. Or maybe you're just whining too much. My advice, get your money back for the script, it's obviously not worth the price.</rant>FYI, That's 2 ignorant posts in a row, you're on a roll. |

I agree it would be nice if people would read a bit before they post, but I'm not sure he deserves to be ripped apart for it... I'd guess that all of us have missed things that were "obviously" written about 100s of times before. But, I also had assumed, when he made the post, that by 'devs' he meant the Mob Wars developers, and not the developers of the script(s). If he meant the devs of the script(s), then rant on -- I'll join you. |
