Thanks for this nice script. I wanted to know if it's possible to add any of the following: Add a button or link on the page to view video in regular low quality. If we don't care about the quality and want to save bandwidth this would be helpful. Add button or links to view the video in different formats available (fmt=22, 35, etc.) Add a button on the page to instantly change the video to the bigMode player or vice versa. Add a "movie mode" button to instantly darken or dim everything on the page when watching the video The main thing I really want is the low quality option because I share a connection and want to save bandwidth. But if you can do any of the other options I would be grateful! |

any responses? also I saw another script http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/38074 and it had some nice features which I think would make this script even better. Especially the Preview, Expand/Contract button, and Stop button(stops buffering). |

It's np. Any features you can add would be very appreciated. That other script also has a MP4 button that plays the video using the Quicktime player which seems to use less CPU which I thought was pretty cool. Anyways, keep up the good work! |

Yea that's the button I'm looking for. It doesn't show up when I have this script enabled. Or when I have it disabled either. I have to manually add &fmt=18 to the end of the url in order to get the HQ button on the player. Otherwise it only appears sporadically. Do you have this problem? Usually I do want the higher quality if it's actual video but sometimes it's a video of a slideshow or a radio address and for that I don't need the HQ and want to save a little bandwidth. |

Are you logged in to youtube when you see the button? Edit: Ok I found out that if I have this script, along with the other script I posted, and this other script here http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/41212 that can force low quality ALL enabled, then I can get everything I want lol. I can live with doing it this way. I just hope there won't be any conflicts with having all 3 scripts enabled. If Avindra can do an all-in-one type of thing I would be very happy. For the meantime this works. Thx again for the script! |
