Hey Znerp,
I don't know if this has to do with my system, but after browsing about 5 pics in galleries, Deviant enlarge seems to lag tremendously and Firefox starts using a lot of resources to the point of freezing. Could you please check this? Thanks!

Oh yeah, I have an RSS feed so I do see your posts pretty quickly (although I'm often away from computers in weekends) so you don't really need to duplicate them like this.

Since I started working in computing a few years back I take a more cynical attitude whereby if someone asks me for something once I can put it off, but if I get chased up then I might do something about it. Conversely, when I was a student I would look at fixing scripts straight away, but I wish I have as much free time now as I did back then.

Hey Znerp, do you have time this weekend to check out the freezing problem? My friend also has the same issue.

I've had a look at the code and I've made some minor changes but I can't seem to replicate this problem. (Either that or I fixed it before my testing, but I really didn't change much).

Hey Znerp,
The problems are due to the new changes to the script for galleries. For the Daily Deviations the script works fine. But for browsing popular and user galleries my cpu process shoots up and freezes after a few enlargements. Please try this link. http://browse.deviantart.com/?order=11

I've just tried it again and browsed for some time, yet I still can't seem to replicate this problem. Could this be conflicting with any other scripts or add-ons you are using?

Hi Znerp,
That's interesting. I turned off all my scripts except for Enlarge and the problem persisted after about 6 enlargements on one page. By pressing next or previous page or refreshing, the script resets itself and it takes another 6 tries.

Ok, I've just spent a good hour and a half or so on this and I believe I've now fixed the problems you were experiencing. It's now 1:38am here and I'm shattered so I'm going to bed.
