Hey, yay,

thanks for this great script. I wanted to ask you nicely (:P), if you wouldn't consider adding a little feature and that is, as the title implies, adding a file size to the alt tag of the link. One of the link checkers I used had this and it was great (I think it was AIO Links Checker here on userscripts.org) so you might not want to reinvent the wheel ;)

Best regards,

Lukas

FYI, AIO Links Checker uses an external website to get extrainfo from the links. Inspect his code.

Checking of filesize could be done (LinkQuery) , but needs to be calibrated for a lot of file hosts.

@Lukáš , @Bizarre,

I have seen this in the AIO script you mention. It is a good suggestion. If I can add this, it will be after I finish up the preferences capability. That way you will be able to enable/disable this feature. I suspect it will slow down the script a bit so disabling this might be a necessity for some people. I am 90% finished with the preferences so this option might not be far down the list.

Thanks for the suggestion.
yah.

@Bizzare,

yes, my bad, I wrote it just before I went to bed and didn't bother to check the script but now I see it...

Anyway, yay, thanks for your consideration, I am always looking forward to any updates!
