well, I am having no success with MyStickies, either with or without the Greasemonkey patch.

the Greasemonkey instructions say:

4. In Firefox, click Tools -> User Script Commands -> Set MyStickies account ID
5. Enter your account ID in the field and click OK.

but I can find no such menu item in FF 3.0.11

Greasemonkey seems to be enabled. The MyStickies userscript seems to be enabled. The MyStickies toolbar is visible. But MyStickes does not seem to be able to remember that I have an active account. And I can't get it to make a sticky note.

Is this a hopeless cause?

John,

Sorry about the confusion. Either Greasemonkey changed their menu structure, or I just got it incorrect when I wrote the instructions. The correct instructions for step #4 are:

In Firefox, click Tools -> Greasemonkey -> User Script Commands -> Set MyStickies account ID.

I hope this helps.
