Gmail changed their buttons implementation, the script no longer works : (

Updated.

This works again, but only when using the mouse to click on the delete button.. the power user needs it to be able to do the Delete and Next feature by using the keyboard shortcut for delete. Is this possible? I only use keyboard shortcuts and going back to the mouse slows me down..

Thanks!

mmhh, I don't get it to work. When I delete a mail it still jumps to the inbox.

Hmmm all is working fine here. Not sure what is giving you errors.

Anything in the Error console pointing to greasemonkey ( Ctrl + Shift + J )

Don't think it is. I can't reproduce this error as I was using this script just before both on Google Apps Mail and GMail, and it worked a charm.

Maybe it is a conflict with another script / addon?

Or maybe you aren't using GMail in english?

Yeah, as it search's for the words "Archive" and "Delete" in the buttons. I will try and see if I can fix for more languages, but only if I get around to it.

Just incidentally found script and thought: thank god, finally a way to get rid of Gmails's default behavior for archiving. However, it doesn't seem to work with the latest update, at least not for me. Using Gmail in English (US).

Also not working for me, also using Gmail in English from the US. Wonderful idea, hope I'll get to use this at some point.

Google broke their Greasemonkey API. If I find a reliable way of working around it, I'll do it, unless Google decides to fix it.

Any news on this? Your script is desperately needed. Thanks in advance for your effort.

I'll take a look within the next week (after I have got some client work out of the way)

I don't suppose there's much chance of an update any time...?
