Hi, i guess many people have this problem...
would you please make the script count the unread emails even if that number is bigger than 10?
my inbox right now has 150 unread emails :P
if that isn't possible, at least a "100+" would be appreciated.
thanks for your effort, wonderful script!

Hey Leopolly,
I'm putting some thought into this, so it may take a little bit for me to come up with a solution.
I'm curious, do you accumulate over a hundred emails between checking, or do you leave unread messages waiting?

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm sure something great will come of it. :)

Hi, not that I think this shouldn't be implemented in favicon alerts,
but there are two extensions in firefox that does this (that I know).
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/...
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/...
Do don't use any of them, since I always keep my messages read and leave in the inbox only pending work.

@Peter: I have accumulated over 500 over these years, 'cause, yes, sometimes i go check my gmail and there are like 50 new messages. Since I don't have enough time, I leave most of them unread.

@Henrique: Valeu! Vou dar uma olhada.

Just to keep everyone up-to-date, I've now updated the script to handle messages up to and beyond 999: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/24430

Let me know if it works for you!
