Are there plans to add the unread article count to the favicon similar to how the gmail one shows the unread email count? If not, still a handy script so I can "Faviconize" my Google Reader tab and see the icon change when I have unread articles. Thanks for your work!

Not for the moment, but I'm having a week of vacation next week, so I'll look into it.
However I can't promise anything, since I'll have to find a way to dynamically generate the icons, or create 100+ by hand (which I'm not going to do).

I've updated the code to show the unread count. It isn't very pretty - but hey it gets the job done :-)
