There is a greasemonkey update that just happened and it's breaking a lot of scripts including this one. Turn autoupdate for addons off under Tool- options - advanced - update tab. Uninstall the new greasemonkey and revert back to this one. I couldnt get to the preferences so I reverted and works fine. You need version 0.8.20080609 or earlier.

Can you be more specific? I cant find "FF options under the update tab". Thanks so much. I'm sure I'll kick myself once you tell me what "FF" is and where to find the update tab.

Go to Tools - Options - Click on Advanced - Click on the update tab - uncheck installed addons

what version of GM is the problem with?

the old version (that works, I believe) is 0.8.20080609.0

hi everyone! i was a victim of the greasemonkey update! well i uninstalled it and tried following john by installing the older version which john mentioned above this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addons... but it worked. the preferences are there again but the thing is i already set it all of it but when i clicked update preferences:

career goal is best payout and best energy, no job description, the bounty limits are not there! but i already set it as ive said.

@mugen26, it does come back. I had the same prob. You just have to try a bit.
Make sure you installed Version "0.8.20080609.0" from June 12, 2008

Damn you guys are quick. I should've checked this site before installing the greasemonkey update. Thanks for the heads up and the fix.

oops I'm screwed . stopped working and I tried reloading and it's fubar. When I hit the pref's button its all blank. I tried installing I and J nothing.. I will try going back to a old greesemonkey.

How about rather than using outdated software, we get our code up to snuff with the current version of Greasemonkey?

Coding Gods... There is a discussion on Pea Crackers version page on how to fix this script to work with the newer version of Greasemonkey. This would be a great addition to any changes made to the script from now on?
