You've reached where I couldn't reach. Congratulations, folks :D I can't even recognize my original code (but small pieces) from a quick look to the source. Fortunately, JS engines have evolved as long with the size of the script (almost 1MB!) ;) I'll link to this script from the original home (at denibol.com/proyectos/travian_beyond) for all the confused visitors. |

Thank you so very much for the script you've introduced ! You are the one that rocked the Travian world with your script ! I enjoyed using your original script and have been quite disappointed not receiving updates for a quite a long time. Travian implemented changes but there was not update to the script. Any user of this script gets addicted to it after using it for 1-2 weeks. And yes, I am no exception. April (or May) 2008 when Travian did some important changes to the game and made this script not work anymore made me rethink... There was an update for the "images" done by somebody else. It worked. But I wanted more. This was the moment I decided to start learning JavaScript and more HTML to be able to correct/enhance the script that gave me so much comfort while playing Travian. And yes, I decided to post an additional script to userscripts.org. I had a hard way to go, being a noob to JavaScript (ECMAScript in fact) and to DOM, but every new update I did, gave me more confidence. It was Nux that joined the team and helped with new ideas and code. Then it was Lux joining the team and providing the "Setup"'s new look. After some time Lux did not answer to our messages. And after some months Nux decided to leave the team, too. Anyway, their contribution to the script was/is great and I have to say "Thank you !". I am alone developing/adapting this script for quite a lot of months now, but I have a lot of fun doing it ! Playing the game is boring but I have to do it on some accounts to be able to continue work on this script. A lot of users of this script were so kind providing access to their accounts for testing/developing. Some users sent/posted code for this script. Others posted icons/images. Others posted reports/issues/bugs and images that helped in the development/fixing issues processes. I am grateful to you for your original script! I am grateful to all those that updated your original script up to the moment I took over ! And I am grateful to all contributors to this script (translations/images/code snippets/reports/issue reports/screenshots). You ALL are SO wonderful ! Anyway, we all are committed to provide a better Travian game experience ! Once again, vggonz, Thank You for the great idea and for your script. Your name will always be present in the description of this script (as long as I am developing/maintaining it). And THANK YOU all ! Without your contribution, this script would not be that what it is now ! As always yours, ms99 |
