Just two issues - links and coded

Great script. It works well but I just have two issues with the script. 1) In my opinion, the feature that converts text links to clickable links should only apply to the links that are being checked (ie, rapidshare, megaupload, etc) and not text links that exist elsewhere on the page. Why? Because I think some people prefer to have certain links in text like originally intended. Also, I find that ad banners sometimes turn into HTML code as well because of the script. I think it may be in conjunction with AdblockPlus. 2) Links that are set within

are not checked. I believe you are already aware of this and are looking into it. Thanks for reading. We appreciate your constant work on the script! |

Here's some example of what jkroeder is talking about:

jkroeder, Bizarre, The linkifier routine functions just like the others available on userscripts. As you've seen, it's designed to affect ALL links. It's a toss-up really if it's worth adding another check just to account for certain mis-behaviors. I will keep this as a possible to-do item when I get the preferences nailed down. When I have them working you will be able to turn this ability on/off. The second item you mention, about the

, I can see this has been an issue on some boards/blogs. It's true it might have something do with the [pre][/pre] tags but I'm not sure. I'll look into it. yah. |

This is not your fault yah. There are a lot of html tags out there. The best thing users can do is to report the html tags that the script can't handle. |
