Feb 19, 2009 7:13pm cryptrick User	Hmmm, I can't seem to get this script to work for me. I did have YousableTubeFix installed but I have tried disabling that, but still no lyrics show up at all on any Youtube pages. I have tried various well known songs but still no drop down that says Lyrics or any sign of it. Also when I click on 'YouTube Lyrics - Options' nothing appears. FYI I am running Firefox 3.0.6 and currently have no other scripts running. Thanks Aquilax.

Feb 20, 2009 6:37pm Aquilax Script's Author	Hello cryptrick Youtube Lyrics at the moment has any known incompatibility with YousableTubeFix. Have you checked the error console for Javascript errors? Menu --> Tools --> Error Console (Ctrl + Shift + J) Have you tried to reinstall the script? Check also if all the needed files have been downloaded. First you have to locate Firefox profile folder, in this folder you will find another folder with the name "gm_scripts", inside this folder you should find another folder with the name "youtube_lyrics". Inside this folder should be three .js files and ten .xml files.

Mar 10, 2009 5:16pm Aquilax Script's Author	It works, perhaps the video is not in the "music" category therefore you don't see the "Lyrics" panel, you can always activate it by choosing "Youtube Lyrics - Show" in the "User Script Commands..." menu or by changing the behavior of "Youtube Lyrics" when it's displayed in the configuration panel: "User Script Command..." --> "Youtube Lyrics - Options".

May 3, 2009 2:53pm Aquilax Script's Author	Animelyrics.com is not really friendly to search / extract lyrics. I take a look to it, but I don't know if it would be possible.

Jun 28, 2009 6:27pm Nikolayevich User	I don´t know if this has happened to other people, (with Firefox 3.0.10 and vista) the thing is I "got it fixed " and i´d like to share in case anyone else have the same problem; *THE PROBLEM WAS that the lyrics panel didn´t appear under any circumstance:* -I disabled the other scripts, didn´t worked -In the options panel, I selected MUSIC; did't worked (for vids under the music category of course) -In the options panel, I selected IN ALL CATEGORIES box, but no, it didnt worked either. THEN when was about to give up I UNCHECKED ALL THE BOXES IN THE DISPLAY OPTIONS, (The "In case that the "Lyrics" panel is not shown, add the option to show it in the "user script commands" obviously does not make any difference whether is checked or not ) AND IT WORKED ! If didn't make myself clear, please let me know as my english can be harh to understand. Cheers Absolutely brilliant script btw!

Jun 30, 2009 6:50pm Aquilax Script's Author	@Nikolayevich Between ver. 3.3.0 and 3.3.1 youtube has changed a little bit, one of the changes has broken my function to detect the video category. So if you were using the old version, v. 3.3.0, the lyrics panel should have never showed up. Otherwise would have been nice if you had posted one of the url where YL didn't show up and eventually if there was an error in the error console.

In the meantime if you want you can hack the script and make the lyrics panel longer: - Locate your Firefox profile - Inside the folder gm_scripts/youtube_lyrics you should find the youtubelyrics.xml file, open it in an editor - Almost at the beginning of the file you will find the following line: <div id="{0}LyricsContentDiv" class="watch-body expand-content"> Add at the div the following attribute `style="height:400px"` The result should be: <div id="{0}LyricsContentDiv" class="watch-body expand-content" style="height:400px"> Save the file. Now the lyrics panel should be 400px height.

It's not collasped by default, and no lyrics shows. Are there any quick remedies to either make the lyrics box appear collapsed by default, or have the box with lyrics showing in the box by default? Thanks a lot! Great script, it has made my youtube experience much more enjoyable
