Hello,

Victor, I appreciate the notification. Apparently though, it's not affecting all mailto: post. I have devised a few tests and they seem to work as expected. I would like you to reply with some example pages so I can see the behavior. I think it only affects pages that have certain formats. Thanks,

VicC, Thanks for the details. I see that the problem is occurring only on pages where there are examples of code. Not, like I thought, on regular webpages. There's a way to fix this but it will require some thought. To fix this, I'd have to add another check in the linkifier routine to identify where this is happening. Unfortunately, there will be no payback for the pages that this script was designed for -- link checks at the Cavern.

Hello,
Thank you again for great script, for your time and help :-)

Victor Cleaner, I'd say it's due to a combination of the scripts you have installed. No one else I know is having the same problem, but no one else is running the scripts you are. To find out which one is causing the problem, just inactivate them one at a time until the page displays properly. That should give you the culprit. yah. |

I'm having this same problem. It also turns your google email address on google pages, which is normally in text form, into a link and also adds the http:// at the beginning. Here's a pic. This happens on all email addresses, doesn't matter if there's a mailto: or not. I disabled all other scripts but it doesn't help. The only thing that solves it is disabling this script. |

I have the same problem. As a result, I had to turn off the script. Any fix soon ? |

Morag Agmon, This issue has been addressed. Please respond if there are any problems with specific pages you find. I used the pages I found and the one Victor posted. Let me know if there are any that slip by. Hope this helps,
