not working

Hi! I'm new to userscripts and can't get now shoosh to work - although I installed another twitter greasemonkey script (endless tweets) at the same time and that works.. it's showing up in the greasemonkey manager so maybe there's something that needs activating or changing? Any help gratefully received! thanks. |

Twitter changed its interface a little yesterday and that's probably why the script no longer works. I hope it gets updated soon. |

ah that explains it then. thanks. |

Can confirm that doesnt work here as well... |

Well, if the code gets updated, I have a suggestion. In addition to "shooshing" users, how about muting hashtags or trends/keywords, too? Twitter desperately needs a filter -- like Tweetdeck.

I haven't gotten around to updating the code yet, as I've barely used Twitter in the past few months. I'm going to try sprucing it up this week so it works once again, and possibly implement the hashtag idea. I hope you guys are still around by then. |

As of today (May 28th, 2009) the script works again. Please update and report bugs. |

Seems the script has stopped working again. |

yes the script is not working. please update. a filter with functionality like tweetfilter http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/49905 would be awesome. also if you could make sure it's compatible with endlesstweets http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/24398 that would be appreciated

It has been updated. Should work nicely again from now until the next minor change in Twitter's layout.

@sheridan - Regarding the behavior of when you press "Load more", I have a version that taps into Twitter's ajax calls and adds (mute) links to whenever you click the button, but I'm wary of releasing it, as it goes against the recommendation of Greasemonkey's own developers. Plus — I was looking into Endless Tweets, as recommended — I have no intention of keeping up with the astronomical number of interferences it might generate with other scripts. Again, I'm totally up for giving Now Shoosh to someone who can give it the care it needs and keep it growing. I don't have, unfortunately, the energy it takes to do more than keep it functioning the same way. |

@sheridan - I don't know if you still check this forum, but Now shoosh! has what you have asked for now, since v0.6. Go check it out and let me know if you have suggestions. |
