I love this script but animeinfo lacks the greatness necessary to be used for it. Animeinfo's 'smart search' is useless...literally.

I just tried searching for "Himitsu: The Revelation"...and the result was...a big fail, try it out: http://www.animenfo.com/search.php?query=Himits... ...makes your head hurt don't it?

Might I suggest replacing animeinfo with animenewsnetwork.com? Animenewsnetwork may not have a smart search, but you are more likely to find what your looking for in one shot with their plain search

Hi, I'm the author of the script. Thanks, I was wondering if anyone found it useful, glad to hear someone likes it.

I have no particular preference for animenfo, it was the only one I knew of. I'll take a look at animenewsnetwork.com and see what I can do.

In the past I have tried to manually correct mistakes made by animenfo inside my script and it has been an uphill battle.

It is worth noting though that a search conducted by my script gets a much more sane result out of animenfo because I truncate anything after, for example, a : symbol. This is among other tricks I use to shrink the search results to something more accurate, like removing very common words like "no" from the query. I'll still see what I can implement for the other site you mentioned, though.

Okay, I've got an animenewsnetwork.com compatible version of this script up as a separate script, you can find it here:

I hope this helps.

Might be worth noting you should remove the baka-updates plus animenfo.com = heaven script from greasemonkey or disable it before you use the animenewsnetwork.com version.
