There's an incompatibility with the newer labs Offline.
Good news? We're not alone, all gmail scripts that I use got problems with it too!
Bugs that I've noticed:
Even if I'm in online mode, greasemonkey seems to lose all scripts configurations.
A weird spam and trash links shows up above the edit labels link, they're aligned to the right and with no style (just underlined blue old links).

hmmm. I need to try that.

But I do like the idea of the new offline feature, because there is no LL4G equivalent for outlook or thunderbird.

I just don't understand why they need to change the view to support offline content still within a browser context.

Neither do I. It could have something to do that in offline mode the user can't access spam and trash folders.
Another problem is that it seems that Greasemonkey losses all script options, which with this brand new version isn't really a problem because we can add the options to the special label.

Yeah, I just did that in the latest version. I posted the change in the Version Log. It may not be clear though.

I understood it! That's what I meant to say. Hehe, what I misunderstanding..

duuh, I totally read your comment wrong. My bad.

I've noticed a problem, the label size limit is 40 characters.
This limitation prevents us the add all options to the LL4G special label.
Maybe we could use some mnemonics instead of full names, for example:
zzz_LL4G pilot spam search

Makes sense. How about just going "LL4g [-options]"? The zzz was just to keep the label at the bottom, but it may not be a big deal. What do you think?

Henrique Abreu User

Yeah, I think it's nice. zzz made sense when we had to select the label manually, but not anymore.
And is -option thing is cool two, reminds posix command line :)

Done. And backwards compatible.

i.e "LL4G -pilot -spam -search"

Henrique Abreu User

Very good! I've just tested it and its working well with just a little problem.
"LL4G -options" label is showing on navigator.

I have been trying to use LL4G with offline but I get many glitches. For example, when I use the pilot mode, clicking on the Inbox label has no effect, but it works when offline is turned off.

Does anyone have LL4G working properly with offline or are there known problems?

@Marcin
I've given up using offline gmail for now, I'll wait 'till its more stable.
I think there's no one else using ll4g with offline gmail today.. I guess will need to some effort to make it compatible and as I said on topic opening: all other scripts I used stopped working with offline labs, but it seems that some of them are working now (I have not tested). Greasemonkey itself has a problem with offline lab!

I'm a bit busy on a project these months, CloudKicker will have to take a look on that..

Well, thanks for your reply. I just wanted to know what the status is: now that I know it is not supposed to work I don't have to try. :)
