New version-infomation on all open Tabs

Jan 27, 2009 8:25am blockx Scriptwright	Hi, great script, but the biggest problem is, i have more that 1 Tabs open, if i get the information about a new version, load this more that one and i must close all message box. this is a hard work. Please check the AIO Link checker-script, this work correct, and i like it, if you build a function to check manuell. (see checkForUpdat in the source http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/24984 ) I hope you find a solution. i think a option to disable automatic check for updates is a easy way. Thanks for your work. blockx

Jan 27, 2009 9:06am ViXaY Xavier Scriptwright	Same problem here!!! I was shocked by the huge number of alertboxes!! I have to disable its use now. I had 59 tabs open in 5 windows and it became unsuable! You need a saner version of update checker of just ask users to use "Userscripts Updater" to help maintain all the scripts they have.

Jan 31, 2009 8:14pm yah Script's Author	blockx, ViXaY Xavier, Excellent point. I have discussed adding a settings feature for this script. I will look into adding a setting so users can disable the auto-update function to prevent this behavior. I will move this up on the to-do list. 59 tabs; that's quite a lot!? yah.

Feb 13, 2009 1:44pm yah Script's Author	As of 02/13/2009 this has been addressed. The script now only checks once/day for a new version. yah.
