How can I edit a script?
I found a script called "Google ReBar" but I want to remove some links on Google top bar links (for example: "Shopping" , "News" etc.)

BTW, What is "New User Script..." and how it's working?

Thanks!

Install the script, right click monkey, Manage User Scripts...,Click on script name, click Edit button.

Thanks gollum!
That's the first I'd tried but unfortunately nothing happened and I don't know why.

Go to about:config and look for greasemonkey.editor.then enter C:/WINDOWS/NOTEPAD.EXE or whatever you want to use (I really don't recommend using Notepad), and save the value.
Next time you edit a script it'll open in Notepad.

@dob
this method you told did not work for me

but one more thing can be done
go to:
C:\Documents and Settings\xp account username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\current firefox profile\gm_scripts
here all gm scripts those are installed in your firefox are stored
edit them with whatever editor you want ;)

Or simply right-click script name while visiting associated page.

There are backslashes actually.

That's a real pain in the ass, don't you think? But what else would you expect from the epic fail guy...

I'm the author of Google Rebar.
As of 1.13 (tonight) I've modified Rebar to allow you to remove links. 1.12+ is much more stable with options that actually work this time. Thank you for the idea.

You're welcome!
but unfortunately it's not working for me, I don't know why?
