new column peers divided by seeds
|
|
Suggestion: A new column, peers divided by seeds should give a ratio of the highest download speeds and would balance out the torrents with disproportionate seeders. Say a torrent has 1,000 seeds and 1,500 peers it's ratio would be 1.5. if a torrent had 2,341 seeds and 4,356 peers it's ratio would be 1.86 so the LOWER the number the potentially higher the download speed. |

Ricky, I've added that as an option in v0.5. It's turned off by default. |

awesome stuff. I just checked today for an update and was pleased to see you had added my suggestion :D keep up the great work and take a break once in a while if all this freebie coding isn't making ends meet :) |

Thanks Ricky, glad you like it! Although I've changed it in v0.6 because I think spider1163 is right - it should be seeds/peers instead of the other way round which is uTorrent displays, and a higher ratio is now better. spider1163 - thanks for pointing that out, and I've added the ratio to the general information page as requested. Please check v0.6a. |
