That script manages to do that by replacing the YouTube player with the embedded one. That brings its own problems: the video uploader can choose to prevent the video to be seen as an embed, for example |

It works good most times for me, and surely is a great time saver also because to do the login you must temporarily leave the current video page. Maybe it won't work for every video, but is a good starting point. Maybe (but I'm not sure) other workarounds for videos which don't support embedded player are the following:

The "hack" of the first link and seemingly the extension replace the player with the embedded one too. I'll try to find a new way to do what you want, but I won't replace the player, sorry |

No problem..! But if you find a way to do it, your script would be the ultimate for a 360-degree enhancement of the Tube.. I hope you can manage to do it! :-) |

Hi, I'm back to this thread 'caouse I have discovered NSFWYouTube, a little service which allows to watch 'unsafe' videos without login. Could it be useful?
EDIT: After some tests, most videos for which the script did not work now are normally viewable with UsableTubeFix, maybe my post is useless.. but there was a video which required login to be watched even wit the script.. If I find it again I'll post the link. |
