Debating printing a nice t-shirt for the site. Got ideas for the design?

Startups I've worked at have used Giant Robots Printing for high quality t-shirts.

I'm guessing they would cost at most $20 each. Are you interested?

Not to mention I live in another country.

Because of this financial crisis, US dolar has become too valuable compared to the currency here.

I'm possibly interested depending on the available colours and the design; ie. I wouldn't buy something I'd never wear.

This is the same for here too; when I was in the US last summer I was getting around $2 to the pound, but it seems that's changed a lot. Mind you, for $20 + shipping it's not really changed much more than the price of a beer or two (this is also how I justify most of my other purchases of anything less than a tenner or so).

I don't like to compare prices to other products because this may differ taxes, national culture, companies competition, ...
But for US$20 I could buy 15 beer bottles (600ml) or 40 beer cans (350ml) or 4 Big Mac combos (sandwich + fries + drink)

Jan 09 : US$1.00 = R$ 2.25

@w35l3y: Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean to comment on your situation at all, I was just commenting about myself. My point really was that despite the weakening of my currency, the difference isn't really that large for relatively small amounts of money.

The pricing is a guess based on queries to printers and nice $10 American Apparel shirts. I'm judging interest before I go further.

Jesse, I'm sure that if you offered shirts on this site, there will be plenty of people that would buy them, majority of whom that don't post in the forums.

Anyway, I liked the first image.
But don't emphasize "greasemonkey" because you might have some trouble with the real authors. this is just an advice.

Perhaps I should do stickers as a first go at this. I can print a few hundred stickers for not much (sticker giant looks interesting)

Agreed! The monkey with the wrench for sure (or the casually walking, dressed monkey in the first picture) :)

Dunno who made the awesome Monkey w/ Wrench drawing, but you can always do a search for Creative Commons licensed artwork.
