I've just updated the forum code.

As we found out in a previous topic, the forum code was completely wrong when it came to keeping the "recent activity" status for topics up to date.

I've finally re-written it all.

Unfortunately existing activity is no longer, since it was only in a cookie in the browser. Now the data is being stored in a database table.

I have not rebuilt http://userscripts.org/forums to make sure that green light is correct, but that should be easier than what I released today. All the lists of topics inside forums and scripts should work correctly though.

I don't know if there is some kind of year 2008 bug, but all topics from all forums are green.

@w35l3y,

As part of the upgrade your existing "unread status" is gone :(

I've got green eyes. Glade it's fixed now.

An option to "Mark all read" would be nice now.

It's not working for me: you (and others) just posted in some other topics, but they didn't show a green icon :(

I'm seeing it too - working on it!

It should be working now - I was parsing the date without taking into account the timezone (UTC).
