How can I add the date?
|

Any chance we can add a date next to our clock? Great work, btw. I only keep my taskbar visible so I can see the time and date, now I can autohide it and just use this. |

I just added a date option to the script.

Oh, thanks! So much better now. I was using a widget instead, and that thing was so big that it was distracting. This one's great. |

what if someone wants the day first instead of month?

auscompgeek wrote: what if someone wants the day first instead of month? Mon May 4 2009 is what Date() returns. In order to change that, it would include a lot more work with variables and more matching to move it around. Do you really still want it? If so, it is possible to do.

this script isn't too long... go ahead. |

auscompgeek wrote:I don't know what you mean by it isn't too long, but I will work on it. Ok I took a long time, and added it. There is an option date_arrangement you can edit. By default the arrangement is weekday month day year. For what you wanted, change it to weekday day month year.

thanks, it looked weird before to me because I'm not American :P EDIT: What happened, all I see now is a white dot...? |

auscompgeek wrote:OOPS! Fixed that. It didn't recognize Saturday and Sunday, but it would work on any other day, lol. |

No wonder, it's Saturday, didn't realise when I was looking at the source code, lol |

I know, how about displaying the date as Sun 10/5/09? |
|

auscompgeek wrote:I could make a special mod for you and paste the code on Pastebin if you want. |

maybe, but that will take a bit of time wouldn't it? |

auscompgeek wrote:Yeah it would. Do you want it? |

Sure, go ahead. |
