I dont know if u guys have noticed but if u are trying to kill on hitlist... u bassically have to turn on Agressive Refresh right? but after about 10~ minutes, everytime the script refresh's it just goes to a blank screen which says "This page is being heavily rate limited, please try not to refresh this page so often" etc... and if u turn agressive refresh off then chances are every minute u refresh ur not gonna get to kill anyone... is there any solution to this or anyway PC could add a moderate speed of refreshing? Or a function that lets u put a speed... idk though... thanks for reading.

Funny... I was just about to post about the same thing. I was thinking about an adaptive random sleep or something once it sees that message, kind of like TCP/IP collision detection. Once a collision is detected each of the devices randomize a random sleep, then try again, if it happens again the amount of to randomize from gets larger and the process repeats until the packet gets across the network without a collision. Maybe something kind of like that would help, or in the preferences section you could expose a max seconds sleep for rate limit page and just use that to randomize from or just use that number...

wow it just happend to me...and i have to go too sleep, it would rule if i could actualy have it on but i guess itll never happen...u basically get to use it for 10 minutes and then it gets fucked for 10 minutes... please PC if u could make it do a pause...then refresh again then that would KICK ASS! :D

well Japes as Tyrant said, there would be an easy solution:

while hitlisting like CrAzY and it comes to this page, the script waits about 2 minutes, then will try again, if the page still comes up then it will wait another minute and so on, until it can go again and keeps repeating etc... I hope someone fixes it cause i get WAY more money hitlist then my hourly income lol...damn Upkeep!

I never leave it running, when in agg refresh I am always watching the console in case of pesky captcha :)... There would need to be some logic added to the script to make this work correctly, but I think this would be a good work around for the issue. I just lost a huge bounty because I got the refresh message after I hit the guy 3 times... DOH! I would love to see this issue addressed in some version of this script, maybe even putting a .5 - 1 second sleep randomly between the refreshes (unless you are in an actual fight) might throw a curve at the FB/MW dev teams :)

Interesting... I was playing with the hitlist manually and was timeing my refresh to about once a second, after 3 or 4 seconds I got the refresh message even without the script running. I wonder if it not only has to do with client refresh rate but also server load...

This is my observations about the 'This page is being heavily rate limited' message.

The message doesnt show all the time. It might only run say once an hour and the rest of that hour, you could refresh to your heart's desire.

Once it does run server side, it hits players around the same time. If I have 2 accounts running, one would get hit and within minutes the other one would get the message.

I ran different refreshes, the aggressive refresh on one account and another account with 5 second refresh. Both got hit around the same time.

I cound run aggressive refresh on the hitlist page for an hour or more without getting the message. I assume that server side the 'This page is being heavily rate limited' check doesnt happen continuously.

Once I get hit with 'heavily rate limited' tag, I cannot access the hitlist page for 15 seconds and that 15 seconds resets if I try to enter sooner.

The 'heavily rate limited' tag also penalizes me for around 10 minutes (maybe less or more) by retagging me with the message if 1) hitlist refreshes happen within 6 seconds of each other or 2) I attack a target too soon after a refresh.

I noticed if I use version 1.12 I don't hit this anywhere near as often as I do when I am using the latest version (1.27 at the time of this reply), plus (because of snipes) I am getting a lot more kills with 1.12 then with the latest versions... So, now I find myself jumping between versions based on what I want to do... I would also like to see snipes come back, but optional only... some times you feel like a nut some times you don't :)
