Greasefire is an add-on for Firefox that helps you find Greasemonkey scripts on Userscripts.org for the web pages you visit.

The latest public version is 1.0.1 and can be downloaded from AMO: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/...

Version 1.0.2 has a few fixes but is not yet public. Please try it: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addons...

Please read the FAQ: http://code.google.com/p/greasefire/wiki/FAQ

Check out the source and file bugs at the google code project: http://code.google.com/p/greasefire/

Ever heard of themes? You can make it look like FF2, IE, Mac, or anything pretty much. I personally use Camifox.

The thing he hates most about Firefox 3 is the address bar!

Well it can be changed. What's the difference between FF2 and FF3? (So I can change it with a style).

Newby question: can multiple scripts run at the same time?? I have added some facebook scripts that do different things, but some others don't appear to be running. Do I have to pick and choose which scripts are active or something??

mrmikehicks - Yes you can.. Of course conflicts may occur but I've found them to be rare.

Greasefire 1.0.4 didn't't seem to be allowed with Firefox 3.5.3 but then I reinstalled it and it works fine. So if anyone else is experiencing the "not compatible with Firefox 3.5.3" message try reinstalling it.

The reason why it took me sol long to got to ff3 was because it broke quite a few extensions. A theme won't fix that.

I run greasemonkey and love it. I helped a friend install it today and get the same scripts I use for Kingdoms of Camelot. We have a issue on his PC. Even when he is in full screen mode part of the build helper on the right side of the screen is missing. It looks like he tried to use it out of full screen. We checked and he appears to be current on all versions. He is running exactly what I am. We tried uninstalling, clearing the cache and reinstalling Greasemonkey and the koc scripts. The only other add on he is using is the Microsoft .NET framework assistant version 1.2.1. Anybody have any ideas on what might be happening?

Hello, with FF4 beta 8, FF reached a level of stability and improvment to 3.6 where I no longer want to use the old version...however, I deeply greasefire as a major part of it, which gives me instant access to the work of hundreds of people I can thank as much as the developer(s) of GreaseFire.

A version supporting FF4 would be much appreciated. Mozilla team says now, the backend would not change anymore, so it is not asking for work during an early beta...

Thanks!
