I strongly agree with this. With only one (I believe) active admin and with him being several time zones behind me, the forums are full of spam almost every morning when I check the site at the moment and it's annoying. Plus I imagine it might put some users off.

With help implementing UI, I should be able to finally get spam deletion implemented directly by community members.

yes, sadly this is true

Seems I see a six or seven new spam posts in the forums every day, and it takes several days sometimes for them to catch the attention of Jesse.

Full Disclosure: I don't want to be a moderator, I certainly don't have the time :P But there are obviously several diligent and honest regular posters on the USO forums who would take on the cleaning duties quite enthusiastically, I would imagine.

Here's hoping the new system is implemented soon!

I've been put on spam duty and should be around a few times a day to make my rounds. Things got pretty out of hand the last few days, but hopefully I'll be able to get rid of most of the spam as it's coming in :)
