From the reports up to 1.22 it sounds like the few that still cannot get the script to run correctly basically could not get their boss data recognized. So the main goal of 1.23 will be aiming to detect incomplete boss data and attempt to complete it. And hopefully that'll resolve other issues associated with it.

I would also suggest that the passive refresh, refresh the hitlist page. Currently it refreshes the page that it is left on.

Thanks for all you do PC.

I would have to disagree with the passive refresh going to the hitlist page. I just don't like it doing what I don't tell it to do. If you want it to refresh on the hitlist page, all you have to do is click on the hitlist page, and leave it. I like the current configuration.

PC, wanted to let you know that this script no longer comes up as a result in a search on this website using MOBWARS as the search. had to search for it using my fav scripts. Version 22 working great for me. cheers again.

I agree, I would not want the refresh to always refresh to hitlist. However, I would like a knob to select pages to *not* refresh. So that, for example, while running on the hitlist and refreshing and noticing that it is time to level up, I'd like to just click on my boss, select the options I want and not have the thing refresh ... or I'd like to click over to main page to view the newsfeed and have it stop refreshing automatically. When I am ready for it to resume, just click hitlist and away it goes again. Or, I'd like to manually make my own city purchases and want to see the ROR but don't want to have the darn screen refresh.

Yes, I can disable GM momentarily ... or update preferences quickly to disable the passive refresh. But I'm lazy. Oh, while on the topic, would like to see the refresh automatically "pause" when I click the preferences button.

* EASY TRICK * to pause the script and change preferences:

1) while the script is running, tap the ESC key once. This should halt the script execution but maintain its functionality.
2) click on Preferences
3) change your settings and click Update Preferences

The new settings should be saved, and everything else should resume (ie, if you had aggressive refresh on, it will do that)

I know it can be difficult to aim or get disable the Aggressive Refresh once it is in motion... similar to the previous post, here's an * EASY TRICK * to change the Aggresssive Refresh:

1) while the script is running, tap the ESC key once. This should halt the script execution but maintain its functionality.
2) click on the Aggressive Refresh checkbox

I find that if you hit escape while a reload is in progress you often just end up with a white screen and nothing to interract with.

If that happens hit F5 to reload and try hit ESC again after the pages has loaded, but before the Aggressive Refresh manages to kick in again.

YMMV

I must be missing something 'cause when I tap the ESC key, the script still refreshes.

You have to have focus on the page you are trying to stop the script on, try clicking on the page then hitting escape.

Thanks Chrisos ... I think the issue is that it doens't do anything unless the script is actually being loaded. If I press ESC while loading I get a "stopped" status in the lower left, and if I am lucky it won't be on a blank page. If I do it while the script is just waiting for the next event, then the ESC doesn't do a thing.

So ... would still like to see a better mechanism to do this. Also, when the script jumps from the hitlist over to the job page when it is time to execute a job, it should when complete jump back to the hitlist with the next refresh. But it doesn't ... it just refreshes current page. So, would like to see the script be smart enough to figure out the "current" page before it jumps off to do a task and always return back to that page when complete.
