and you may want to disable it for pages "Direct Messages", "Favorites" and the Public Timeline, this will make the script look smarter.

i changed the search query to "http://search.twitter.com/search.json?q=%40" which will return all tweets that has @user anywhere in the tweet.And it worked fine till today. but from today i am not seeing any of those twitter sidebar replies. not even the word replies appears there. am not sure if the twitter page elements are changed .. if you could check this and let me know it would be great.

by a change in Twitter has stopped working "document.getElementById("me_name").innerHTML" at home, changing "document.getElementById('profile_link').href.replace(/.*\//,'')" working properly :)

HannibalSmith: I've solved this by stripping whitespace from front & tail of me_name, but in any case of solution - how do we post the updated script?
