Possible workaround for "can't update preferences"

I had a buddy install the script last night, he started with 1.16. It wouldn't work for him, same issues others have reported that Pea hasn't been able to reproduce yet, script wouldn't let him save preferences if he toggled autobuy properties or undeveloped land. I knew about this issue but I had never experienced it myself and I've used the script since 1.12. So I had him uninstall and then install 1.12, then set all the settings/preferences. Then install 1.13, set prefs, 1.14, set prefs, 1.15, set prefs, and then 1.16 again. Long story short, it seems to have worked for him. He has the script running, he can change preferences, etc. Pea, were there any changes to the objects that would cause this that you can recall? I'm wondering if something in 1.15/6/7/8 is expecting a parameter/var that used to be in 1.12 (for example) and isn't there any longer? Not sure if that's the real answer or not but I wanted to at least pass along what we did last night in case it helps in the debugging. JT |

to fix this click on "my stats", your name will show up then in the script consol, you should be able to update all prefs... |
