Just so that you all know, I'm working on the healing issues and error messages at the moment.

I have the weirdest feeling that "aggressive refresh" is killing the game -- making it run slower for all of us. Now FB & MW hate me cuz they needed to get so many people & buy so much more hardware to keep the game up & running :(

So perhaps I will have to find a balance between convenience & comfort...

lol, found one of the all-time bugs that my little eyes didn't catch for an entire month of coding... probably messed up my heads & it turns out my script (not sure starting from which version) was deciding whether you can pay for the clinical services based on cash-on-hand, but as we all (should) know, the doc wants only clean money from the bank... talk about money laundering...

This is perhaps why a few of you who had some money in the bank never got to get healed -- the script didn't care if you had money in the bank, it was looking at the cash in your hands, and if you had the "auto deposit" turned on, you probably don't have any...

Time to turn boss.cash back into boss.bank_cash for the doc.

Well, I never had auto deposit on, and I have the cash on hand, and in the bank. Don't know if that effects the problem, just letting you know. And was....

Error in module 'jobs' on line 1455: document.getElementById("app8743457343_cur_energy_countdown") is null

...fixed in 1.5? I'm running 1.4 on one of my accounts because of the healing problem, but I get that error when my energy reaches full, then it doesn't do the job assigned.

And I didn't know also due to the fact that I always have over 10B in the bank and about 5B in my hands, so the doc was always affordable for me...

The energy_countdown error is caused by the fact that is is missing when you have it at full. FB/MW had it on all the time when they first introduced these timers, but recently they changed it again... I forgot if v1.15 already patched it but the next release v1.16 will for sure.

Well as I look at the downloads or this script at the top of this page, the count is well below 12,000, so even if that was 12K separate installs (which it isn't) and that was just versions that supported Aggressive Refresh (which they aren't), and we all had AR switched on (which we don't) I don't think we would be a significant enough group generating a signficant enough amount of traffic to slow the whole game down.

I seem to remember reading that the game runs on at least 100 servers, I think we could maybe flood one server if we trying (and could even target one server, which we can't).

Take it from me (I write high throughput clustered bank trading systems for a living), unless the code or this game has some terible bottlenecks, our contribution could not be significant.

Realistically, I'd expect there to be less than 250 people usng AR ar any one time anyway.
