Could you please add 2 new options:
1 - to be able to remove the "Format" and the video sizes from the youtube page?
2 - to be able to remove the download link on the name of the video.

thank you in advance,

It would also be very much appreciated if you could add an option to auto-focus on the flash player, so that I would be able to just hit the enter button to start playing, when using the 'stop autoplay' feature.
thanks a lot in advance

I prefer the format dropdown choice list, but the video sizes are too many. I think 3 video size options would be perfect, 9 is unnecessary.

I also like the auto focus idea. I use "stop autoplay" as well, and would love to simply press the spacebar to get videos going.

As for my own suggestion... I would like an option to delay "Autoplay" for a few seconds, so the page will load before the video begins. This can prevent videos skipping on a modest connection. I think 3 options would be enough, like a 5 second delay, a 10 second delay and a 20 second delay. If that's too much, then a single option for a 10 second delay (or whatever you prefer) would be great.

Also, great script, I love it.

nfdnfd:
What would be the point of removing the controls added by the script to enhance the page?

It's a good suggestion, I like it. I'll see what I can do

unfocused:
It's necessary to have so many video size options because there are people with very different monitor sizes and resolutions, so it would be very hard to reduce the options to only 3 sizes. I'm not a fan of clutter, but it's necessary in this case

I'm sorry, but I don't understand why do you want to delay the autoplay. So the other elements of the page load first?

Not load first. I'd like the video to download as the rest of the page loads. I just sometimes have a few skips in the beginning of a video because the browser is still loading other elements of a page when it starts autoplaying. So i think, as the video AND the other elements of the page loads, there could be a short delay in the videos autoplay. So most, if not all, elements of a page will have loaded before the video begins it's autoplay. This way, YouTube videos won't skip so much. Myself, I have lots of addons for Firefox, and I noticed a few of them tend to slow the browser down especially when visiting slow loading pages.

But really, if this isn't necessary nor the case for most people, don't trouble yourself considering it.

About the video size options; I understand, and that's a good point. But I think the real issue is with the space it takes up. It seems more logical to have the video size options appear in the YousableTubeFix configuration options display along with all the other options instead of underneath the video itself, pushing the other page elements down.

This way, the addon would be less obtrusive. But I do understand that the size options were placed in a quickly accessible area. At the very least, the options could be placed in a dropdown list alongside the video quality dropdown list. It would look more clean and less distracting. Maybe you can even put the download options in the same area with them in their own dropdown list (or even in a smaller/shorter text list) so they won't push the right panel elements down.

Also, I've been wondering, does the title-download link automatically download the best video quality available? I'd like to hide the right panel download links and just use the title link, if it does.

I'll think about your suggestions and see what can I do about them

About the download link in the video title, it offers a link to the currently selected format in the format dropdown list
