pw,

I'm a total noob in greasemonkey scripting ( although I did write a few simple perl scripts a few years back ).

I'm trying to create a script for my own use :
1. check my IP address via my router status page.
2. If the IP address is 60.49.*.*, then finish.
3. Else, reset router by clicking button(which would force my modem to get another IP), and go back to 1.

The reason for my script is simple, my ISP assigns a random IP (eg, 60.51.*.*, 218.208.*.*, 115.133.*.*, etc) each reconnect. But for only 60.49.*.* gives me the best connection speed ( the diff btw that IP and the rest is rather significant, as much as 10X faster. ) It's quite tiring to have to manually disconnect/connect each time I want to get that specific IP address.

After searching for user scripts that could manipulate a router thru it's webpage, and so far this is the only script that I've found. Hope that I could understand enough of your source code to write my own.

Since I'm using an Airlink router, I can't see your script in action, are you able to help give me some pointers to get me started ? Can I send a PM/email to you ?
