Dag nabbit!! I goofed! I impatiently associated "Open Office Writer" with Greasemonkey. I can't find a way to change it thru the options menu or any other part of the GUI. Now I can't seem to find the proper location of this association to remove it. Also what is the ideal editor to use. I was going to start with Windows Note Pad but in a haste, having forgot the location of it's EXE file, I chose the easiest one to find "OOW". Obviously I'm a NUB so any good tutorial would be appreciated as well! TIA

c:\Windows\System32\notepad.exe Also, Aptana, Notepad2, Notepad++, EditPad Pro and Dreamweaver are good. |

I've also wondered how you change the text editor setting after you've already selected one. |

Thanks avg & w35l3y! I have installed Notepad++ and associated GM with it. JoeSimmons go to "about:config" in the list find "greasemonkey:editor" and select reset. Next time you try editing through GM it will prompt to select your preferred editor again as before. Studying the regex stuff now! |
