Post here the bugs you find in 'Rapidshare Links Checker' userscript.Post all the info you can (urls, etc) so I can replicate the bugs.

ninovolador User

It seems to dont recognize www.megaupload.com/es/ links

Look here http://kumanavi.wordpress.com/2008/06/02/comman...

can u help?
thx.

Yarda User

Unfortunately this script is not working in google reader, can you fix it?

xav User

Your script didnt recognize www.megaupload.com/fr/ links too.

Sorry for my bad english and thanks for this amazing script.

Placebo User

The script used to be very efficient, but the new version doesn't work well anymore.
When I go on the test pages, nothing appears anymore. But if I click on 'Google blogsearch test page', it works just like before. The same thing happens on some sites and not on others, it's weird.
So I reinstalled the old version (what a pity I like the new functions : name-size) and this old one works well. Could you check this prob.
Many thanks in advance.

PS Update in bug after a little more surfing and tests : when the old version worked with 'hidden link' (For Example : 'Download Rapidshare' instead of the whole address of a file on rapidshare), the new one is inefficient.

Hi

Is it just me, or the new version actually put the huge load on my internet? I think when I use the new version's hovering function (to show the size of rs file), It tries (maybe unintentionally) to download the file (in the background?).

It seems the only way to stop the problem is to restart the firefox.

BS: I've just update the greasemonkey plugin (to 0.8.20090123.1) today, so maybe the source of the problem is the conflict related to it.

Because of bugs in the 2.6 b version I upload the previous version till I find out how to fix the bugs. Kaveh Dorafshan yes the new version tries to download the link in the background sorry about that , I don't have a premioum account so I didn't notice this before
the latest buggy version is here http://hosts.890m.com/userscripts/rapidshare_li... if someone wants to check the code.

CTM Studios User

New ability to check size of a file makes dificult selecting muliple files. When mouse hovers over the selected link, it becomes unselected.

Barough User

2.8 beta

The links is always live no matter what u set the 'No_live_links' option to

dilpreet User

i am currently using safari 4 and when i installed this script all it did was make the links clickable but it didn't put any tick or cross icon next to the links.

hosts Script's Author

@ Barough | The No_live_links was written for delinkify the text-links , the links that you see them as a text if the script is not running, so you are right about that bug.

@ CTM Studios | Yes and I don't know how to fix this. Anyway this happens only to rapidshare links.Maybe I add a function so the user have to double click on the page before checking the name and size of the links?

@ dilpreet | I have check the userscript only on firefox

Bugs :

Currently, Rapidshare files which are not in a premium- or collectors zone, are getting an unavailable response from the server (Files can only be downloaded 10 times/day.)
but Rapidshare checker flags them green & available.

For example : http://rapidshare.com/files/222919943/PE.1._Ali...

Please, don't let this nice userscript go to dust.

konijntje User

Just wouls to to add that your beta 20090406 doesn't flag any file from rapidshare, it seems like it doesn't even check them anymore.

Anyway, back to the 2.5, it would have been better if you sticked to Rapidshare, and not incorporate some less used sites which offer nothing but trouble.

Barough User

Sorry, but the issue with that the links is still live no matter what you set the 'No_live_links' option to is still around in the v2.9 RC. Back to v2.5 again.

konijntje User

The tool doesn't work as it should, for example on this page :
http://www.warez-bb.org/viewtopic.php?t=2302912

It only checks like 20 links, and then stops abruptly.

CYCK User

Seems that its working for filefactory with a problem, installed as a standalone it marks 1 of the links as dead but its good, now if I install the old version and go right to this beta version that dead link now will appear good(green)minor but still a problem so dont take filefactory out lol,

will report more as it comes along

I think ver 3 has a problem with google reader that makes the cpu load more than usual. It would be appreciated if you could investigate the problem :)

In the latest version, when the script is enabled on the Google search results page, all the bold and blue highlighted words are shown in plain words which is really annoying. Please fix this.

FirefoxX11

@sosaited This is not a bug, the script is removing the highlighted words when you are searching for those words :rapidshare filefactory megaupload.com megarotic.com megaporn.com so it can check if the links are alive or dead directly from the google results. If this is annoying for you search and revove those lines from the script

                link.innerHTML = link.innerHTML.replace(//gi, '');
                link.innerHTML = link.innerHTML.replace(/<\/b>/gi, '');
                link.innerHTML = link.innerHTML.replace(//gi, '');
                link.innerHTML = link.innerHTML.replace(/<\/em>/gi, '');
                link.innerHTML = link.innerHTML.replace(/<wbr>/gi, '');</wbr>
