Hi, this project seems to have been dead for over a year and did not work with Youtube's new appearance, so I took the liberty of updating the script. Here's the new script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/37633 .

Since it's a fairly simple script, I also wrote instructions for anyone who might be interested in updating it in the future, should I lose interest/not notice/otter. I just wish Youtube themselves would provide an option (with cookies) to keep the comments hidden. The speech synthesis unfortunately doesn't seem to work as intended.
