According to the Travian game rules page scripts are not legal !

This script tries to avoid generating "patterns" or "unusual activity" on the game server. You should use with care the features provided by the map (automatic showing of information about the cells/oasis, scan the map function), preload pages for the marketplace and the messages/reports, update all villages while on 'dorf3.php' pages, etc.

Anyway, there is another perspective... NO ONE IN THIS WORLD can condemn you by using a script for an Internet page when the script is running on your local computer, without interfering with the server that generated the page and send it to your computer and as long a you do not disclose the information to others.

The reason is following...

The information that the Internet server has send to your computer may be copyrighted and you may be instructed that you are not allowed to modify it... but... the TRUTH is, once the page is loaded on your computer, you can do anything you want with it and manipulate it as you wish !

But, only as long as you do not interfere with the normal activity of the server that sent the page to your computer and you DO NOT disclose it to others. It is your personal right stated in the Constitution...THE RIGHT to your own privacy !

NO ONE in this world can take you this right away ! (of course if you're living in a democratic country).

So, using a script that does not interfere with the activity of the game server (even if "unusual activity" is detected) may be punished by the game server provider... but... if you suit them, they will loose in any court, as they have no right to decide about your own privacy (please keep in mind the conditions I've stated above). But because we all are simple players of a game, having no time to suit somebody in court, they take advantage and ban you for using scripts that run on your local machine.

Please consider that not all the scripts that you find on the internet are respecting the conditions stated above and the providers of the game (or other internet pages) may ban you for using them with a legal basis.

This script tries to avoid functions that may interfere with the normal activity of the game server, functions that may cause unusual activity on the game server, but it is you in the end that install/use the scripts/functions. But if somebody would take them to court, they will try to settle the disagreement because they may be punished to the maximum extent of the law.
