Yay! Long awaiting v2.2 is out! I see lot's of changes and fixes, very nice. Just a few minor glitches I've experienced:
2) preview pictures not being updated when changing "Show GoogleFx Logo", "show navigation bar" and "align thumbs to Left" options, also option "Streaming Auto-Page" shows changes in preview picture regardless if "show navigation bar" option enabled or not. Thank you very much for this great script! |

First that all... Sorry for the delay of this Update (v2.2) :D Thank you all for the reports ... Google's team made many changes to the code of the page, and that is why so many things stopped working. (I'm trying to see how to prevent these things). Hopefully now fixed the most commons bugs. Anyway, yet there are several bugs to behold, but we will try to fix as far as possible. So, thanks for reporting the different situations. (don't forget the screenshots when the thing is complicated to explain.) ;) Streaming Autopage feature of Image section still not working, this is because Google implemented a new system using Ajax (asynchronous communication with the server in the background) which makes it extremely difficult to solve this problem. Firefox users have the advantage to overcome this problem with the addon AutoPager, which provides for this situation. Anyway, hopefully we can fix it soon. |

V@no: As always, thanks for your reports. 1) Yes, some times, this happens. It relates how Google count the items found, because, sometimes add some more successes to our request (the google features that were moved to the Right Panel). Sometimes, google, count this items as part of our limit per page, sometimes not. :( 2) Mmmm... this don't happends to me... anyway, I don't understand that feature you have disabled and what not when this happend to you. Please, tell me what you have on and off. (Thanks for the suggested code for the option to make permanent the property of safemode.) ;) |

Strange this is second time I see it, but after uninstalling and then reinstalling GFX, most of my previous "2)" reported glitches are gone, except one:
3) the new color picker is awesome, at first I thought it was window's built-in...unfortunately it's not without bugs either :( The color pick area is not big enough for the whole palette of colors, that makes it impossible select bright colors, including white. 4) when color picker opened it doesn't show you the current color, it always set at #FF0000 and the selectable area (on left) represents shades of current color, not shades of selected color from vertical rainbow column and also, cursor circle displays outside of the selected area:
5) GFX style page uses the current selected styles, which could be problematic if "accidentally" set the same font and background colors in "inputBox", because that color also affects GFX dropdowns 6) changing "Round borders" doesn't immediately shows on preview picture. 7) the input box highlight (when in focus) cannot be changed? neither color, nor border thickness? |

Thanks W@ano!... now most is fixed. the shows/hide navigation bar when enable/disable Streaming Auto-Page is on purpose. :) Yeap... The previews don't work for the InputBox and Button. (and do not know if I can fix it) :( The hightlight of the InputBox when focus is the value of border-color for that item ... change this and you will have no more this feature. :) Alan Lan:Was fixed in the best way that could, because the images have white background :D Jauma2323: No hay de que :) ... ya era hora de que sacara esta actualización. Thank you all for the comments |

The hightlight of the InputBox when focus is the value of border-color for that item ... change this and you will have no more this feature. mmmm the color - yes, but border thickness is something else. I see 2 pixels wide border, but it set to 1 pixel. In fact, changing border-width for InputBox affects only border for off focus (blur) also, in "image" settings is a "undefined" option. P.S.

Thank you for this update! I was slumming it with various other scripts which got me about 50% of the usability back. Found something interesting: on google search, I have "white space" under each search result. It looks like there is space expecting "Show more results from <website>". Here is an image to show what I mean:
I disabled all other scripts to see if that was the issue, and it's not. Another thing. On the standard search results page, there are the links in the top right hand corner for "Search in: Time, Text, Url, Links". If I move my mouse over the "Links" text, it causes the side-to-side scroll bar to appear at the bottom of my firefox. Take the mouse off the link, and everything is fine. Seems to me that a slight shift of this to the left would fix the issue. My guess is that when the text changes on mouse over, it just changes enough to cause the right most character to actually go off the screen. Final one for now, I swear!
I've tested this on both google.ca and google.com and both give me the same results.</website> |

bug since v2.2 (also included in 2.2.1):
-note: alan lan is just a bugmenot account so it could be anyone but for the last post in the forum of this script it was just the same person (me xD) |

Thank you Pablo, Thanks for the latest version, lots of nice improvements. I had some issues with it at first but most were fixed by first un-installing the old one and re-installing. Thought I say that just in-case others have issues. Just some small bugs when it comes to news.google.com 1) The numbering of results starts at "2" instead of "1"
Thanks its great to get the latest version. |

Gracias Pablo por la nueva versión de GoogleFx. I just have one suggestion for Google Maps, is it possible to add an option to disable all suggestions from the search field? It can get very annoying adding addresses and the only way (I think) to remove the suggestions is by clicking on the X. |

Hi again. I have a bug in Google Images, when i scroll down, the new pages are actually the first 3 or 4 pages over and over again. I double checked and the actual pages (non-GM) are different. |

Not sure if this is an isolated issue or not. Since the beginning of November, I have been getting a "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" when performing a google search. This only happened when doing a google search. I was trying all kinds of settings trying to fix the issue. I then tried turning off Greasemonkey, and the problem went away. If I re-enable greasemonkey, the problem comes back. The only script running when Google search opens is GoogleFX 2.21. If it helps, my browser (Firefox) is sitting waiting for something to transfer from "clients1.google.com" Has anyone else experienced this? It's starting to get annoying (as I get a popup box, and the page gets focus regardless of what I was doing). Thanks! Oh, I do have the same issue as Claudia A. In google image search, I get repeating images with the autoscroll. It's like I get a complete list of duplicates, and then get the next batch of proper ones. The duplicates are "normal" google image search results, while the rest are "Google FX" version ones. |

Why must google update their site constantly? Makes life difficult for people who write these great scripts... |

It is a beta so I'm not expecting anything, but image popups no longer work in FF 3.6 Beta 4. I *think* they worked in Beta 3, however I can't be certain. As 3.6 is just around the corner I figured you might want to look into it. :) Your script is phenomenal and anyone with Firefox that doesn't use it is an idiot. :-D |
